1. We produced pots made of clay to simulate the shape and composition of water filters. Then we adopted sand, sawdust, coffee, charcoal, and salt as absorbents during the four rounds of experiments.

 

2. We categorized these pots based on the three configurations of absorbents and a control group

3. We weighed the pots and absorbents every day to track the instant changes of the drying process
